Biofield Tuning
A powerful sound-based session using tuning forks to support nervous system regulation and the release of stored emotional and energetic patterns
How It Works
Biofield Tuning works with the understanding that the body is an electrical system that exists within an electromagnetic field extending through and beyond the physical body.
Experiences of stress and life events can be reflected in this field as patterns of tension or disorganisation.
An activated tuning fork generates a coherent vibrational frequency and a weak electromagnetic field. When introduced into the body’s field, this frequency can interact through resonance and shift toward entrainment, helping the system to reorganise and move toward greater coherence.
In this way, sound acts as a form of input and feedback, supporting the body and nervous system to recognise patterns of imbalance and return toward a more coherent state.
What To Expect During A Session
During a Biofield Tuning session, you are generally lying face up, fully clothed, in a relaxed and supportive position.
Opening The Session
The session begins with an opening sequence using light touch and weighted tuning forks along the body, typically starting from the feet and moving toward the head and crown. This introduces sound frequency to the body and allows me to attune to your body’s energetic response.
Working in the Biofield
A 174 Hz tuning fork is used to support alignment of the energetic centres below and above the body, and to strengthen the flow of energy in the body’s central channel.
From here, I allow your body’s innate healing intelligence to guide the most appropriate approach for working in your biofield.
Clearing And Integration
A combination of unweighted forks and weighted forks are used around and occasionally on the body. Other tools such as crystals may be used to support clearing.
Beginning with the outer layers of the field – associated with your earliest emotional patterns and lived experiences – and working progressively toward the body, which is associated with more recent and present-day experience. The Biofield is gradually combed through, gently releasing stored energy and supporting it returning to the central channel of the body, where it can integrate and support greater vitality in the present moment.
Each person experiences Biofield Tuning differently. Some people feel deeply relaxed or calm, some notice tingling sensations or waves of energy moving through their body, while others may recall memories, experience emotions, or feel called to take deeper breaths as the system releases and reorganises. Sessions unfold uniquely according to what the body and field are ready for in that moment.
Closing Sequence
The session concludes using weighted forks to bring the system back to present time awareness. A 528 Hz tuning fork is used to create energetic containment. Gentle touch is applied to the feet to support grounding and reconnecting with the physical body. The back energy centres are lightly balanced using focused attention and touch. The session concludes with a final Chi sweep to complete the process and support energetic closure.
What This Process Supports
This process supports the body’s innate capacity for self-healing, helping it recognise areas of imbalance and move toward greater coherence.
Results are individual and vary from person to person.
Sessions may support the release of underlying tension patterns that can contribute to physical discomfort in the body, as well as the softening of thought loops and behavioural patterns.
They may also support the release of outdated belief systems and early conditioning that no longer serve you in the present moment.
As these patterns soften, people often notice a greater sense of spaciousness along with increased clarity, ease, and lightness.
This can show up as improved mental focus, feeling less internally busy, and increased vitality.
Session Details
All sessions are held in person at our Nelson Bay studio.
60 Minute Session
A standard Biofield Tuning session is 60 minutes and includes the opening sequence, combing the field , and the closing sequence.
This session is suitable for first-time clients and supports the areas mentioned above.
For deeper or ongoing change, a series of sessions is recommended.
90 Minute Session
A 90 minute session is available for clients who have already received at least one session and would like to work more deeply or explore multiple areas within the same appointment.

Please wear comfortable clothing. Throw blankets are available if you would like additional warmth or comfort.

Biofield Tuning is a supportive modality and is not a substitute for medical care or treatment.
This work is not suitable for:
- active cancer
- end of life care
- acute medical illness or medical crisis
- pregnancy
- recent concussion or head injury
- seizures
- implanted electrical devices

Aftercare / What you may experience after a session
Each body is unique, and every Biofield Tuning session is experienced differently.
Many people report feeling lighter, calmer, clearer, or more relaxed after a session, along with an increased sense of self-awareness.
At times, some people may notice a temporary period of adjustment as the body and nervous system integrate the session. This can include fatigue, emotional sensitivity, headaches, or feeling slight;y ‘off’.
Some people describe this as a kind of clearing or detox response. While this is uncommon, it can include sore throat and other cold and flu like symptoms as the system adjusts.

Supporting Integration
To support your system after a session:
- Rest and allow space for integration
- Stay hydrated
- Take a warm bath
- Spend time outdoors with your bare feet on the earth
- Move gently and listen to your body
Awareness
You may notice increased awareness of thoughts, behaviours, or patterns after a session.
This awareness can create space for new choices, supporting shifts that feel more aligned and self-supportive over time.
